MONROE - The 7th annual Net 'n Ten 3 on 3 basketball tournament, sponsored by Monroe Area Rebel Soccer, will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, March 20, at Monroe High School, Monroe. The competition is a three on three basketball game, for third to eighth grade basketball players. Concessions will be available.
Each team will be comprised of three to four players with one adult coordinator. Age brackets are determined by 2010 to 2011 school year grade levels. If necessary, players may play up a grade division, but will not be allowed to play down to a younger age bracket.
Each age division will be open to the first eight paid team entries. The fee is $60 per team, and each team is guaranteed 3 games and a Net 'n Ten T-shirt. Each game is typically 10 to 12 minutes.
