MONROE - Calling all third- to eighth-grade basketball players - gather a group of friends, give your team a name, and join the line-up for the seventh annual Net 'n Ten 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, sponsored by Monroe Area Rebel Soccer.
The competition will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2011, at the Monroe High School, 1600 26th Street, Monroe. Concessions will be available.
Each team will be comprised of 3-4 players, with one adult coordinator. Age brackets are determined by 2010-11 school year grade levels. If necessary, players may play "up" a grade division, but will not be allowed to play "down" to a younger age bracket.
Each age division will be open to the first eight, paid team entries. The fee is $60 per team, and each team is guaranteed three games and a Net 'n Ten T-shirt. Games are fast and fun; typically 10-12 minutes, and the winning team in each age bracket will go home with championship medals.

All proceeds from the tournament will benefit Monroe's High School soccer program.
