SOUTH WAYNE - The public is invited to attend the sixth annual Dennis Murphy Scholarship Golf outing Aug. 1.
The golf outing will start at 10 a.m. at the Wolf Hollow Golf Club in Lena and will be held rain or shine. The registration begins at 9 a.m. and a four-person scramble format will tee off during a shotgun start at 10 a.m.
Proceeds from the golf outing will benefit the Dennis Murphy Scholarship Fund.
The cost to register for the golf outing is $70 per person, which includes 18 holes of golf, cart, dinner, auction, raffle, a sleeve of balls and an awards presentation. The dinner and awards presentation will be hosted at the Village Inn in South Wayne.
