OSHKOSH - Monroe High School junior bowler Trace Ermey placed first among the state's best bowlers.
Ermey bowled a 724 series and walked away with a first-place plaque and a $200 scholarship.
High school bowlers from around the state gathered last weekend for the final event of the season. The All-Star Team Challenge was held at Revs Lanes in Oshkosh. Each district sent five boys and five girls. This year's event saw 12 boys teams and 10 girls teams - a total of 110 student athletes competing for $1,700 in scholarships.
