MONROE - The U12 girls soccer team competed against Oregon on Saturday and won 4-2.
Alexa Bader and Anika Einbeck had shots on goal while Megan Benzschawel scored two goals in the first half. Casi Gersbach and Maddison Markham scored in the second half. Maddy Wels and Bader had many saves as goalkeeper.
The girls also played Madison Magic on Sunday at the MTX field in Monroe. The Monroe girls had many shots on goal from Kayleigh Nesbitt, Amy Wuethrich and Bader. Alexa McWorthy and Becca Rath had several saves as goalkeeper. Megan Benzschawel scored the only goal for Monroe while the Magic scored from a penalty kick. The game ended in a tie 1-1.
