MADISON - The Monroe volleyball team is still searching for its first Badger South Conference win after dropping a four-game match to Madison Edgewood, Thursday, 25-23, 19-25, 25-17, 25-19.
"I think we are getting back to form," Monroe coach Dave Gersbach said. "We had a lot of passing problems today."
Monroe senior Jamie Armstrong had 10 kills and seven blocks.
Senior setter Jessica Wyssbrod had a team-high 35 assists to lead the Cheesemakers. Senior outside hitter Chrissy Marti had seven digs and five aces.
"They played scrappy," Gersbach said. "We kept the pressure on them."
