WISCONSIN DELLS - The Monroe softball team advanced to the WIAA final round Thursday afternoon after defeating Adams-Friendship.

In the 8-3 win, Monroe senior pitcher Meghan Roberts struck out 11 batters - including the first 10 outs of the game.

Maggie Schuttler had 4 RBIs for the Cheesmakers.

Monroe advanced to play Edgerton, who defeated Lakeside Lutheran Wednesday.
