MONROE - After winning a gold medal in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles at the WIAA Division 2 state track meet, Monroe's Jordan Hirsbrunner was one of six Cheesemaker runners to be named all-area. Hirsbrunner, who just completed her junior year, was named first-team all-area in the 300 hurdles and came within 0.31 seconds of setting a Division 2 state record, beating record-holder and two-time state champion Mikaela Grant of Jefferson. Hirsbrunner finished the 300 hurdles in 43.94 seconds, which was the top time in the state all season.
