OSHKOSH - Sydney Wyss, a 2007 Monroe High School graduate, was recently named to both the WIAC first-team and Midwest All-Region first-team for her standout play at shortstop for the UW-Oshkosh Titans.
Wyss never missed a start in her four years, finishing with 195 hits in 161 games.
She totaled 34 doubles, seven triples, nine home runs, 78 RBIs, 133 runs, 34 steals and had a .421 on base percentage.
This past season, Wyss had the WIAC's second-best batting average (.436) and was second in runs with 38. She had seven doubles, two triples, a home runs, drove in 16 runners and had 10 steals on the year.
