STOUGHTON - The Cheesemakers fell to Stoughton by nine strokes Monday at the Stoughton Country Club.
Kyle Bruce, Monroe's No. 1 golfer, finished with a 43. Ice Luengsathikul had a 44 and freshman Eric Timm carded a 45 for the Cheesemakers. Jessy Stagliano (51) picked up Monroe's final score in the 174-183 defeat.
Stoughton's Henry Klongland and Eric Howell each shot a 41, and the Vikings' entire varsity lineup shot under 50.
Monroe junior varsity team won 198-199.
