UW-Whitewater senior guard Kelsey Hendrickson was named the school's women's basketball player of the week for her performances against UW-Eau Claire and UW-Oshkosh last week.
Against UW-Eau Claire, Hendrickson, a Monroe graduate, lead Whitewater with 15 points and six rebounds, also dishing out a game-high six assists. She finished 7-for-8 from the line.
Versus UW-Oshkosh, Hendrickson finished with 23 points, going 4-for-7 from the three-point land and hitting 5 of 6 from the free throw line.
UW-Whitewater is ranked 16 in the D3hoops.com poll with records of 12-4 overall and 5-2 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. UW-Whitewater will host UW-Platteville Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Kachel Gym in Williams Center.
