NEW GLARUS - Junior Grace Moen for the New Glarus softball team was named first-team Capitol South All-Conference recently.
Marshall's Dany Gumz was named the Capitol South Conference Player and Pitcher of the Year. Belleville senior Tara Hanna was also named first-team all-conference.
New Glarus junior Lydia Sprecher was named second-team all-conference. Belleville's Ryley Helwig and Alli Kowalski also were named to the second team.
New Glarus finished the season 5-18 overall and 4-12 in the Capitol South. Marshall, which went 16-0 and was the Capitol South Conference champion, had four players named first-team all-conference led by Gumz.
