Black Hawk 45, Pecatonica 35

SOUTH WAYNE - The Warriors held the Vikings scoreless for the first 14 minutes of the game but their own shooting struggles led to some tense moments down the stretch before they sealed the victory on Senior Night.

Senior Aleigha Sigafus paced Black Hawk with 18 points, including eight in the first half when the Warriors built a 19-10 lead.

"In the second half, we led by as many as 20 points but Pec got some shots to go late and forced some turnovers," Black Hawk coach Mike Flanagan said. "We let our kids play through it.

"We've got to get better at finishing games and making the plays that we need to hold on to those leads. At some point it is going to come back to bite us."

Abby Baumgartner and senior Tatum Jackson added eight points each for Black Hawk.

Liz Tisch paced Pecatonica with 11 points.
