MONROE - The 36th Annual Monroe Mixed Doubles Tennis Tournament, the last of the three summer tennis tournaments sponsored by the Monroe Parks and Recreation Department, is slated for this weekend, August 6-7.
The tournament is open to anyone high school age and older. The fee is $20 per team and all teams are guaranteed two matches.
The fee can be paid the day of the tournament.
There is only one bracket of mixed doubles teams. The tournament is scheduled to start at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 6 at Recreation Park. It will conclude Sunday afternoon with the finals and third-place matches. To enter, call tournament director Jim Bartholf at (608) 325-9402.
