MONROE - The 37th annual city mixed doubles tennis tournament, the last of the three summer tournaments sponsored by the Monroe Parks and Recreation department, is slated for the weekend of Aug. 4-5.
The tournament is open to anyone high school age and older. The fee is $20 per team and all teams are guaranteed two matches. There is only one bracket of mixed doubles teams.
The tournament is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. at Recreation Park, on Saturday, Aug. 4. The final and third place matches will conclude on Sunday afternoon.
