MONROE - The Monroe High School boys golf team lost a dual match with Monona Grove 158-169 on Tuesday at the Monroe Country Club.
Monona Grove's Jake Schreckenthaler shot a 2-over-par 36 for medalist honors of the nine-hole competition. The top score for the Cheesemakers came from sophomore Jack Rogerson, who shot a 5-over-par 39.
Monroe senior Devon Boeck finished the round with a 42, and junior Collyn Wilde had a 43. Senior Kyle Krebs carded a 45 to round out the top four for the Cheesemakers.
