VERONA - New Glarus-Monticello sophomore Ryan McCoy finished eighth overall in the boys race at the Verona Invitational Saturday with a time of 16 minutes, 55 seconds.
Junior Wesley Morgan was 64th (18:21), senior Reid Zanoya 76th (18:37), junior Riley Miller 85th (18:48) and freshman Young Chul Vetterlie took 97th (19:00).
As a team, the Raiders finished 13th out of the 25 teams at the meet.
On the girls side, New Glarus-Monticello finished 22nd with freshman Madeline Brunner leading the way in 71st place (18:15). Junior LouAnn Judd was 84th (18:31), freshman Natalie Kolasa 123rd (19:53), senior Jessica O'Brien 125th (19:54) and junior Jessie Pratt was 130th (20:10).
