McArthur takes sixth overall

FENNIMORE - Darlington's Zach McArthur finished sixth overall in the SWAL Conference golf standings, collecting 298.5 points over the eight-meet season.

McArthur scored 72 points in Tuesday's final conference meet in Fennimore, keeping him ahead of Fennimore's Jared Wiese in the standings.

The Redbirds' Bryan Reichling finished tied for ninth overall with a total of 275.5 points. Despite Reichling's 47-point effort Tuesday, Mineral Point's Dylan Schroader finished with the 60 points in the same meet to force the tie.

Lucas Bergeson (200) was 16th overall for Darlington, with teammates Alex Schulte (146, 23rd place), Dan Lawson (142.5, 25th) and Chase Tuescher (23.5, 44th) also scoring varsity points in conference this season.

Argyle-Pecatonica's Brandon Watkins (165.5) led the team in scoring and finished 21st overall. Sean Schilling (131) was 28th, Micala Peterson (81, 31st), and Bryan Johnson and Fiaz Rahman tied for 37th with a score of 54.5.

Cuba City's Eric Wolf won the individual title with 353.5 points, taking first place honors in all but two meets.
