MONROE - The Monroe Mat Rats had a long weekend, with 16 kids traveling to three tournaments - at Iowa-Grant, Marshall and Janesville.
At Iowa-Grant, Colby Argall, Mitchell Quinn and Nick Schumacher each finished in first place in the kindergarten through second-grade division.
At Marshall, Brandon Anderson and Bodie Minder each finished in second place in the kindergarten through second-grade division.
Brayden Zettle finished in first place in the third- and fourth-grade division. Cole Murray finished in first place in the fifth- and sixth-grade division with Traiten Gorr coming in second place.
Trevor Gorr finished in first place in the seventh- and eighth-grade division. Eric Timm, Troy Gorr, Kevin Klopfenstein and Reave Lincoln each finished in third place in the same division, with Dusty Burkhalter coming in fourth.
In Janesville, Reave Lincoln finished in second place in the seventh- and eighth-grade division, with Kyle Walter coming in third and Aaron Hesgard placing fourth.
