MONROE - The YMCA Mat Rat wrestling team hosted 434 wrestlers from 41 teams at its annual Youth Wrestling Tournament Jan. 22 at Monroe High School. The Mat Rats placed sixth overall with 48 wrestlers competing in the tournament.
Oregon took home the first-place belt and team trophies went to the Janesville Pythons, who took second; The LAW, Illinois, third; and Dixon, Illinois, fourth.

Second: Beau Hoesly, Isaac Bunker, Garret Voegeli and Lukas Andersen.
