MONROE - The Monroe Mat Rats competed in three different youth tournaments Sunday in Milton, Whitewater and Sauk Prairie.
At the Whitewater Youth Tournament, Beau Hoesly placed fifth.
At the Milton Monster Mash, Carson Menehan placed fourth; Garrett Minder placed fifth; and Jaden Clark placed sixth.
Sixteen Mat Rats had a successful day wrestling in Sauk Prairie. Placing first were Jack Dubach, Blaine Fletcher, Cole Meighan and Noah Schuh. Taking second place were Brady Schuh, Christian Schuh and Elijah Phillips. In third place were Patrick Harms, Eli Salzwedel, Payton Weckerly, Wyatt Weckerly and Anthony Wels. In fourth place were Jace Amacher, Chelsey Gilbert, Tristen Laws and Grant Ula.
All the wrestlers had competitive matches, were aggressive and didn't back down.
