MONROE - Two Monroe Mat Rats wrestled in the competitive Dominate in the Dells Tournament March 10 at the Wisconsin Center at the Chula Vista Resort with more than 1100 wrestlers participating. Jack Dubach placed third in the schoolboy 90-pound division. Patrick Rielly wrestled in the Junior 170-pound division but did not place.
Two Monroe Mat Rats also wrestled March 10 at the Boscobel Youth Tournament. Competing in brackets by year of birth and weight, Eli Salzwedel placed first and Kaydon Proctor placed second.
Regional qualifiers are March 17, where the top two place winners in each age and weight class will qualify for the State Championships held March 23 and 24 at the Alliant Energy Center.
