DARLINGTON - The Green County YMCA Mat Rats rang in the new year at the Redbird Coach Hackett Memorial Classic on Saturday, Jan. 2.
Fourteen Mat Rats participated in this youth tournament, winning several awards. In grades 1-2: Noah Schuh, first; Kraig Walter, second; Gage Jelle, fourth. In grades 3-4: Cole Meighan, second; Christian Schuh, second; Lane Meier, third; Molly Patterson, fourth. In grades 5-6: Brady Schuh, first; Jaden Clark, first; Jack Dubach, second; Roderick Rath, fourth. In grades 7-8: Patrick Rielly, first; Max Patterson, second; Logan Clark, third.
