MONROE - Two Green County Family YMCA Mat Rats wrestled in the Dodgeville Youth Wrestling Tournament on Sunday. Eli Salzwedel placed third and Trevor Schmitt placed fourth.
At the Verona Classic Warm-up to Regionals Youth Wrestling Tournament on Sunday, 10 Mat Rats competed. In their respective brackets, Owen Voegeli, Brady Schuh and Garret Voegeli placed second. Jaden Leistiko placed third. Jack Dubach, Jaden Clark and Logan Clark placed fifth. Noah Schuh, Carson Menehan and Christian Schuh placed seventh.
