NEW GLARUS - The Monroe Area Swim Team turned in several amazing performances in its first road meet of the season Saturday at New Glarus against Sugar River.
Grace Keith in the girls 8- and-under division won the 50-meter freestyle with a time of 43.45 seconds and the 25 breaststroke (:33.25).
Marissa Berg in the girls 11-12 division finished first in the 100 freestyle (1:04.45) and in the 50 backstroke (:36.23).
Leanna Schwartzlow in the 15-18 level won three individual events, including the 100 individual medley (1:15.59), 100 freestyle (1:08.55) and backstroke (:35.81).
Schwartzlow teamed up with Emma Fenner, Berg and Jenni Sefcik to win the 200 medley relay with a time of 2:21.29.
New Glarus had two girls who won three individual events, including Reagan Anderson and Karina Moen.
Anderson took first place in the 9-10 girls 50 freestyle (:36.07), the 100 IM (1:36.15) and she won the 50 breaststroke (:49.71).
Moen won the 13-14 girls 50 freestyle (:35.95), the 50 butterfly (:41.73) and the 50 backstroke (:45.55).
Moen also teamed with Anna Wolf, Vaneesa Narveson and Lydia Lee to win the 13-14 200 medley relay with a time of 3:40.6.
In the boys competition, Grant Keith in the 13-14 division finished first in the 100 IM (1:21.23) and in the 50 butterfly (:35.49).
Cody Wolf in the 11-12 boys level took first in the 100 freestyle (1:15.33) and he won the breaststroke (:45.78) and 100 IM (1:26.33).
Mitch Keith in the 11-12 division won the 50 butterfly (:39.47). He teamed with Wolf, Niven Tomasiewicz and Joseph Wyss to win the 11-12 200 medley relay with a time of 3:22.65.
The same quartet swam together and finished first in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 2:51.85.
Tyler Moser in the 15-18 competition won the 100 IM (1:27.08) and the 50 butterfly (:34.54).
Spencer Keith in the 15-18 division took first in the 50 freestyle (:30.32) and he won the breaststroke (:43.87).
In the 9-10 division, New Glarus' Noah Zimmerman finished first in both the 50 freestyle (:41.98) and in the 50 backstroke (:55.63).
