PLATTEVILLE - Monroe sophomore Gabby Ludwig scored two goals to lead the Cheesemakers to a 4-1 non-conference win over Platteville on Monday.
Senior Lily Priewe put the Cheesemakers up 1-0 scoring a goal at 1 minute, 46 seconds. Sophomore Maddie Knutson scored at 3:57 on an assist from Kelley Baumann to give the Cheesemakers (7-8, 2-4 Badger South), a 2-0 advantage.
Ludwig scored her first goal at 20:06 on a pass from Knutson. She scored her second goal on an assist from Emily Frankowski at 51:11.
"Gabby has been a little frustrated and shut down in the last couple of games," Monroe coach Miriam O'Neill said. "She tried to have a little more composure today."
