DARLINGTON — After the June 14 WIAA Division 3 regional, Darlington advanced 15 individuals and seven relays to sectionals. Black Hawk is sending nine individuals and a relay, while Monticello has eight individuals and Albany seven individuals and four relays. Pecatonica-Argyle will send four individuals and three relays to the sectional meet, scheduled for June 17 at Boscobel.
Benton-Scales Mound-Shullsburg won the regional title for both the boys and girls teams. Cuba City was second for both genders, with Darlington third. Black Hawk was fourth in the girls team standings, followed by Albany. Parkview was fourth in the boys circuit, with Monticello fifth, just three points ahead of Black Hawk.
Sectionals were scheduled to be held in Boscobel June 17. The WIAA Division 3 state championships are slated for June 24 at Veteran’s Stadium on UW-La Crosse’s campus.
