WFCA Hall of Fame picks announced

MIDDLETON — The 42nd enshrinement into the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame will take place in Madison at the Marriott West on Saturday, April 10. The WFCA will induct five new members into the Hall of Fame and 10 representing the class of 2020. 

Two National High School Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame inductees, The Dave McClain Distinguished Service Award recipient and one recipient of the Positive Influence of Coaching Award selected in 2020 will also be presented at the 2021 banquet. The Hall of Fame banquet is open to the public.

The class of 2021 inductees include:

Tony Biolo, Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln; Pat Bundy, Menomonie; Pat Cerroni, UW-Oshkosh; Tony DiSalvo, St. Croix Central; Steve King, Holmen

The class of 2020 inductees include:

Kirk DeNoyer, Wisconsin Lutheran; Tom Fugate, Homestead; Joe LaBuda, Menomonie; Steve Lyga, Cochrane-Fountain City; Paul Martin, Waunakee; Steve Rux, Waukesha West; Dan St. Arnauld, Niagara/Brillion; Bernie Schmidt, Cudahy; Scott Statz, Platteville; Mark Traun, Elk Mound

Brad Arnett of Nx Level is the Dave McClain Distinguished service award recipient.

Dave Keel of Mequon Homestead and Bill Turnquist of West De Pere enter the National High School Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

Chuck Raykovich of Chippewa Falls is the winner of the Marge and Dick Rundle Positive Influence of Coaching Award.

Only 1,000 tickets will be sold, and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests must have a ticket to enter the banquet hall. No phone orders will be taken and checks need to be made payable to the WFCA and sent to the WFCA Office, PO Box 8, Poynette, WI, 53955.
