The Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association recently announced its Boys Basketball 2024-2025 All-State teams for Division 4 and Division 5. Two local athletes were named to the Honorable Mention team in Division 4 and two were selected from Division 5.
Junior Broker Buschor of Darlington and sophomore Zeke Zuberbuhler of Darlington received Honorable Mention honors by the WBCA. Buschor averaged 19.4 points per game and shot 40% from three-point range to go along with 8.4 rebounds per game and 3.4 assists per game in helping the Redbirds go 21-6 and reach a sectional semifinal in Division 4. Zuberbuhler led the Redbirds in scoring, averaging 19.9 points per game. He also averaged 5.1 rebounds per game and 2.5 assists per game.
In Division 5, several athletes from the Six Rivers Conference were named All-State. Senior Ike Waage of Argyle and sophomore Griffin Noll of Pecatonica were named Honorable Mention. Waage averaged 17.4 points, and 7.0 rebounds while dishing out 102 assists for the Argyle Orioles this past season. Waage was also named Player of the Year in the Six Rivers Conference in leading the Orioles to an 18-8 record.
Noll led the entire Six Rivers East in scoring by averaging 25.1 points per game. Noll also brought down 5.3 rebounds per game and led the Vikings with 107 assists for the season. He was also among the league leaders in three-point attempts made with 57.
