DARLINGTON — The Redbirds finished in a tie for second place in the 8-team SWAL season, and three players nabbed postseason honors.

Senior Taylor Wedig was a first-team pick as a middle hitter, while senior Kaylee Schwartz and sophomore Aubrey McCarthy were honorable mention picks.

Champion Cuba City had three first-team picks, and two more honorable mention selections. The Cubans also had senior Hailey Stich selected as the league’s player of the year, and Cubans coach Keri Lawson was named coach of the year.
