DARLINGTON — The Southwest Wisconsin Activities League has announced its 2024-2025 Girls All-Conference basketball team.
Three players from Darlington earned all-conference honors. Junior Maddie Gratz was named First Team All-Conference along with junior Sadie Goebel. Junior Catie Hartwig was named Honorable Mention. Gratz led the Redbirds with 11.6 points per game, 7.0 rebounds per game, and 74 assists for the season. Goebel scored 9.7 points per game, grabbed 5.5 rebounds per game, and was second on the team with 73 assists. Hartwig scored 8.8 points per game and had 4.8 rebounds per game for the Redbirds, who finished in third place in the SWAL conference with a record of 10-4 under coach Mike Flanagan.
The Player of the Year was Ella Vosberg of Cuba City, and the Coach of the Year was Jason Derby of Cuba City.
