BELLEVILLE — In a battle of ranked teams, Sugar River and Edgewood drew, 1-1, on Thursday, Sept. 28. Brycen Teasdale assisted Aiden Hatleberg in the 12th minute to put the Raiders ahead, but the Crusaders tied it up 11 minutes later. The remainder of the first half and the entirety of the second were scoreless.

The Raiders, ranked No. 7 in Division 3, have won all but three of their contests. They lost to top-ranked Division 2 team Westosha Central 1-0 and Division 3-ranked Wisconsin Dells 4-3.

In other local soccer, Monroe fell to Big Foot 8-1 with a goal from Osmar Fernandez Sanchez.
