BELLEVILLE — The Sugar River Raiders opened the girls soccer season with a 3-0 win over Cambridge-Deerfield May 4.

Bella Brenkman scored a goal with Kirsten Krantz assisting in the fourth minute. Emma Anson made it 2-0 in the 34th minute, and less than two minutes later Callie Smith scored another goal.

Morgan Thompson and Kaitlyn Peterson stopped three shots in net for the Raiders, who play at Big Foot May 8.
