BELLEVILLE — The Sugar River Raiders won a pair of nonconference games last week. First, the Raiders knocked off River Valley 2-1 on the road on Sept. 15, then pitched a shutout of Mount Horeb at home on Sept. 17, winning 3-0.
Against River Valley, Aiden Hatleberg and Eli Leonard scored in the first half. Tikeh Tazeh and Reid Nolden had assists. Clayton Streiff finished with eight assists.
Against Mount Horeb, Hatleberg scored twice in the first half, and Jack Leonard added a third goal. Brady Mousseu had an assist.
Streiff had five saves for the Raiders, ranked seventh in Division 3 in the most recent Wisconsin Coaches Association poll.
In other area soccer action, Fort Atkinson blanked Monroe 3-0 on Sept. 16.
