The Monroe Cheesemakers improved to 2-1 in boys tennis with a 6-1 win over Beloit Memorial on April 8. At No. 1 singles, Alex Funk of Beloit Memorial defeated Matthew Setterstrom of Monroe, 6-3, 2-6, 10-5. The Cheesemakers recovered after that at No. 2 singles as Alex Gerrits of Monroe defeated Nick Ostenson-Zweifel of Beloit Memorial, 6-3, 6-0. No. 3 singles found Allen Gerrits of Monroe defeating Omar Nabhan of Beloit Memorial, 6-0, 6-1. At No. 4 singles, Cash McCabe of Monroe was victorious over Daniel Guevara of Beloit Memorial, 7-5, 4-6, 10-6.

The Cheesemakers swept doubles as No. 1 doubles Carsen Bartholf and Hamilton Stites of Monroe defeated Abraham Perez-Guzman and Francisco Rebolledo-Valdez of Beloit Memorial, 6-1, 7-6 (2). No. 2 doubles resulted in Travis Saunders and Caleb Figi of Monroe defeating Mohanad Nabhan and Jaciel Cortes of Beloit Memorial, 6-1, 6-0. No. 3 doubles meant another Cheesemaker victory as Graysan Bartholf and Eli Salzwedel of Monroe defeated Alex Aleman and Adrian Gonzalez of Beloit Memorial, 6-2 , 6-3. 

Next up for the Cheesemakers, they will host Big Foot-Williams Bay at 4:15 p.m. on April 15.
