Late goals allow Raiders to fall to Platteville

BELLEVILLE — Sugar River lost a tight game Sept. 19, giving up two second half goals to lost to Platteville 2-1.

The Raiders scored the first goal of the game in the opening half, with Breckin Faber putting one past the keeper at the 31:30 mark.

In the second half, Platteville’s Nick Kroll scored on an assist from Kayden Addie to tie the game at the 53:38 mark. About 21 minutes later, Addie scored on an assist from Andrew Barry.

Julian Lutz had seven saves for Sugar River.
