ALBANY — The Panthers picked up their first conference win of the season Oct. 5, knocking off the host Comets 25-23, 25-20, 25-22.

It was also Juda’s first Six Rivers East victory since Oct. 9, 2018.

Brianna Dahl led Albany with 13 kills, 13 digs and three aces. Payton First added eight assists and Alana Durtschi finished with three blocks.

Brodhead 3, Evansville 0

EVANSVILLE — The Cardinals steamrolled the Blue Devils 25-19, 25-10, 25-12 Oct. 5.

Brodhead was led by Abbie Dix, who had 10 kills and two blocks. Alexis Kammerer finished the night with 33 assists and 10 digs. Daisy Nelson tallied six kills and an ace. Madisyn Kail and Onni Oliver each had two aces, and Kaidynce Bevars led the Cardinals with 11 digs.

In other area action Oct. 5, Darlington beat Iowa-Grant in four sets, 25-27, 25-14, 25-12, 25-14.
