BLANCHARDVILLE — Pecatonica-Argyle senior Aidan Gruenenfelder recently announced his commitment to wrestle at Augsburg University in Minneapolis via social media. Gruenenfelder chose Augsburg for its welcoming atmosphere. “The day I stepped on campus, it felt like home. I really like all of the coaches and wrestlers on the team.” The Auggies won the Division III national championship in 2023-24, and Darlington-native Ethan Aird is also a freshman on the team. Gruenenfelder was a 2024 state champion and a runner up in 2023.
