MEQUON — The Rock County Fury got back on the winning track Jan. 14 with a 5-1 road win over the Lakeshore Lightning.
After a scoreless first period, the Fury took a 3-1 lead into the second intermission and added two more goals in the third.
Albany senior Haley Knauf finished with a hat trick for the Fury, scoring the first goal of the game and both scored in the third period — including the last goal with just 24 seconds left in the game. Sister Alyssa Knauf, a junior, scored Rock County’s other two goals. Alyssa Knauf added two assists, while Haley Knauf had one assist. Anika Einbeck finished with three assists and Sara Loerke was also credited with an assist on a third-period goal.
Rock County outshot Lakeshore 39-18. Fury goalie Olivia Cronin had 17 saves.
