STOUGHTON — The Rock County Fury pulled off a 7-0 win over the Stoughton Icebergs during their game Jan. 24, thanks in part to a dominating third period in which the Fury lit the lamp four times.

Rock County took a 1-0 lead with just seconds remaining in the first period as Haley Knauf scored off assists from sister Alyssa Knauf and teammate Anika Einbeck.

In the second period, Claudia Boehlke scored unassisted on a 4-on-4 midway through the frame to make it 2-0, and Einbeck scored on a power play just 62 seconds later off passes from Haley Knauf and Sara Loerke.

In the third, Loerke put a pass from Olivia Combs passed Icebergs goalie Abby Seybold 91 seconds into the period. Just 22 seconds later, Boehlke scored again unassisted. Alyssa Knauf made it 6-0 with 11 minutes left in the game off passes from Haley Knauf and Einbeck. With just 5:30 left in regulation, Einbeck scored a second goal off a pass from Presley Kovacevich.

Olivia Cronin stopped 20 shots in goal for the Fury, which outshot the Icebergs 38-20.

Alyssa Knauf is just three points away from 100 in her career. Einbeck and Haley Knauf reached the 100-point career milestone Jan. 21. The next Fury game is against Beaver Dam Jan. 30 at SLICE in Monroe. On Jan. 2, Rock County defeated Beaver Dam 9-0.
