STOUGHTON — The Rock County Fury pulled off a 7-0 win over the Stoughton Icebergs during their game Jan. 24, thanks in part to a dominating third period in which the Fury lit the lamp four times.
Rock County took a 1-0 lead with just seconds remaining in the first period as Haley Knauf scored off assists from sister Alyssa Knauf and teammate Anika Einbeck.
In the second period, Claudia Boehlke scored unassisted on a 4-on-4 midway through the frame to make it 2-0, and Einbeck scored on a power play just 62 seconds later off passes from Haley Knauf and Sara Loerke.
In the third, Loerke put a pass from Olivia Combs passed Icebergs goalie Abby Seybold 91 seconds into the period. Just 22 seconds later, Boehlke scored again unassisted.
