BRODHEAD — The Brodhead-Juda wrestling team hosted Pecatonica-Argyle for a dual on Tuesday, Jan. 17. The Cardinals won 35-30 with a pin from Marcus McInytre and tech fall from Jameson Wallin.

There were 11 forfeits in the dual — three double forfeits, and four each for the Cardinals and Vikings. Only three matches were played out.

In the first, Levi Paust (220) pinned Emmitt Allen in the second period. The pin gave Pecatonica-Argyle its first points before a series of forfeits.

By the time Will Doescher (132) and Wallin wrestled, the Vikings had a 30-18 lead. Wallin defeated Doescher by a 16-1 technical fall. The only point Doescher scored was on an escape.

After a forfeit at 138 in favor of Brodhead-Juda, the match was set for Marcus McIntyre (145) and Emerson Koch. Whoever won the match gave his team the dual win. McIntyre made quick work of Koch, pinning him in 23 seconds.
