BLANCHARDVILLE — Sugar River defeated Pecatonica-Argyle 56-16 in a dual on Tuesday, Nov. 29. The Raiders won six matches by forfeit, as the Vikings did not have enough wrestlers to fill those weight classes.

Trei Udelhoven (160), Ryker Swenson (170), Alex Zielinski (182), Aidan Keyes (195), Garrett Pauli (285) and Mason Mau (132) all won by forfeit.

In the first match not decided by forfeit (220), Carson Loshaw pinned Levi Paust in the third period at 5:19.

Lukas Orloff (106) gave Pec-Argyle its first points with a pin of Steve Grunnet just into the second period at 2:20. Aidan Gruenenfelder (113) fed off this momentum to score an additional four points with a 10-1 major decision over Blake Endres.

After a double forfeit at 120, Jakob Orloff (126) pinned Ashlin Mihlbauer in 1:37 for the final six points of the Vikings’ 16 total.

Brennan Keyes (138) pinned his opponent, Will Doescher, in 1:33, as did Eli Leonard (152) over Emerson Koch in 1:43.

Cayson Helwig (145) missed a major decision by one point in his 15-8 victory over Sammy Nelson.

Sugar River was deducted one point from its total for unsportsmanlike conduct.
