MOUNT HOREB — Darlington’s girls golf team narrowly finished third in the three-team meet at Mount Horeb Sept. 6. The Redbirds finished with a score of 218, behind Mount Horeb (213) and champion Lancaster (210).

Marissa Gould paced Darlington with a 49, which was good enough for fourth place. Kennedy Wagner carded a 50, Maggie Nordquist had a 58 and Chloe Mulstein and Allison Thompson each scored a 61. Lancaster’s Morgan Cooley was the medalist with a 43.
