SOUTH WAYNE — The Warriors toppled the Comets Sept. 20, 25-18, 25-21, 25-17.

Raylin Peterson had seven kills and two blocks for Black Hawk. Teammate Tara Wellnitz tallied 15 digs and seven kills. Jenna Meier finished the night with three aces and Ellie Edler dished out 19 assists.

For Albany, Alana Durtschi finished with eight kills, three aces and 29 digs. Anna Ellinger tallied five blocks and Ellie Modaff added nine assists.


Cuba City 3, Darlington 1

DARLINGTON — The Redbirds gave the Cubans a run, but came up just short in their SWAL match Sept. 20. Cuba City won 25-16, 22-23, 25-22, 25-22.

For Darlington, Jaidyn Evenstad had nine kills, Jaylyn Schwartz and Ava Hendrickson each had three aces, Aubrey McCarthy dished out 12 assists, Zoie Zuberbuhler tallied 26 digs and Jada Ruf finished with two aces.

For Cuba City, Ella Vosberg had 12 kills, Ella Mckinley 33 assists, Alexis Runde 20 digs and three aces, and Lainey Runde four blocks.


Pecatonica 3, Juda 0

JUDA — The Vikings scored a sweep on Sept. 20, winning 25-21, 25-20, 25-7.

Lavinia Rufer had seven kills and three blocks for Juda, while teammate Jackie Nusbaum had 3 blocks and Ciarrah Davis 11 digs.


Belleville 3, Cambridge 1

BELLEVILLE — The Wildcats scored their second Capitol South win of the season on Sept. 20, topping the Bluejays 25-22, 25-16, 25-21.

Mikayla Caskey had six kills, two aces and 10 digs. Kailey Prochaska finished with 2.5 blocks and Addy Edge added 11 assists.
