MONROE — The Cheesemakers had three players named Badger West All-Conference in baseball this season on the diamond.
Junior George Brukwicki was a first-team selection at first base. Senior Henry Brukwicki and junior Tucker Markham were honorable mention picks.
Edgewood had three first-team players, three second team and two honorable mention. Baraboo had six picks, two first, two seconds and two HM. Sauk Prairie also had six total picks, while Oregon, Mount Horeb and Reedsburg had five.
Oregon’s Tyler Soule was the league’s Player of the Year, and Sauk Prairie’s Quinn Baier was Pitcher of the Year.
Monroe softball snags five all-conference picks
MONROE — Senior Karis Paulson closed out her high school softball career with a first-team all-conference selection in the Badger West at shortstop.
Fellow senior Sloane Ambrose was a second-team pick as a utility, as was sophomore Katrina Sathoff and freshman Olivia Feller. Freshman Sophie Golembiewski was an honorable mention selection.
Mount Horeb had three first team picks, and three HM, while Oregon had two first-team players and four second-team. Baraboo and Reedsburg each had five players honored.
Ocampo HM all-conference
MONROE — The Cheesemakers scored just two conference wins this soccer season — both against Portage.
Junior midfielder Atziry Ocampo was picked as an honorable mention all-conference player for her efforts. She was Monroe’s lone pick.
Conference champion Oregon had 10 named all-conference, including five on the first team alone. Sauk Prairie had eight players selected, Edgewood six and Mount Horeb four.
