COLUMBUS — Nine players from the Sugar River Raiders were named to the Capitol Conference All-Conference team for 2025.
Named to First Team All-Conference were senior Anya Brenkman, senior Hannah Boldebuck, senior Kylie Humke, senior Audry Brueggemann, and junior Toria DeVoe.
The Second Team consists of junior Ella Woodmansee, and sophomore Ellie Brenkman. Named Honorable Mention were senior Zoey Lovejoy, senior Delaney Hoeper, and senior MacKenzie Ohms.
Selected as the Player of the Year was Anya Brenkman of the Sugar River Raiders, who won the conference championship with a record of 6-0 in conference and 19-3-1 overall.
Softball, Baseball All-Conference Players Named
COLUMBUS — The Capitol Conference has announced its All-Conference softball team and baseball team from the Capitol South for 2025. Named to First Team All-Conference in softball was sophomore Brynn Prochaska of Belleville. Senior Ava Benash of Belleville received Second Team All-Conference honors. Freshmen Payton Richter and Story Fossum of Belleville were named Honorable Mention.
In baseball, sophomore Nolan Julseth, junior Landon Stelter, freshman Ethan Colstad, and senior Patrick Alt of New Glarus were named First Team All-Conference. Junior Ashlin Mihlbauer and freshman Kamm Nehmer of New Glarus were selected Second Team All-Conference. Receiving Honorable Mention for New Glarus were junior Braden Rear and senior Nate Hendrickson.
For Belleville, senior Niles Monroe was named First Team All-Conference. Second Team All-Conference went to senior James Markhardt. Sophomore Marcus Hebgen and sophomore Austin McKinley received Honorable Mention for Belleville.
