NEW GLARUS - The Knights and Cardinals went back-and-forth all game before New Glarus came away with a 13-11 baseball win on Tuesday night.
Brodhead scored six runs in the top of the first and New Glarus countered with three. The two teams were knotted up at 7-7 after two innings, and a six-run fourth inning put the Knights ahead 13-9.
The Cards only could score two more in the fifth.
Ryan Bright was 3-for-4 for the Knights. Matt Felt and Nick Stuessy each had two hits with a triple for New Glarus. Parker Mavus was 2-for-5 for Brodhead.
Felt got the win on the mound, while Tyler Malcook was tagged with the loss.
In other action Tuesday, Black Hawk lost to Shullsburg-Benton, 8-1.
