Knights' rally falls short

NEW GLARUS - Mineral Point's Tarek Ollerarch went 3-for-3 with three RBI to lead Mineral Point to a 6-3 non-conference win over New Glarus Thursday.

Mineral Point had a four-run first inning to help the Pointers jump out to a 6-0 lead. New Glarus junior Gavin Binger had a two-run home run in the fifth inning for the Glarner Knights. Binger finished 1-for-2 with one run scored and two RBI. Teammate Hayden Latsch went 1-for-1 with one run scored and one RBI.

New Glarus senior Koner French pitched six innings and gave up six earned runs on 10 hits. He struck out five and walked one.



Parkview 3, Brodhead-Juda 1

BRODHEAD - Orfordville Parkview pulled out a 3-1 win over Brodhead-Juda in a pitcher's duel Thursday.

Parkview's Nolan Strzok limited the Cardinals to just two hits. Brodhead-Juda's Skylar Stuckey pitched a complete game and gave up three earned runs on three hits.
