Knights finish 1-3 in Waupun

WAUPUN - The New Glarus volleyball team went 1-3 at the Wisconsin Christian Life Invitational on Saturday.

Marshall knocked off New Glarus in three sets 25-15, 22-25, 15-11.

New Glarus senior Devon Boll had five kills and McKinley Righter posted two blocks. Senior Madison Perkins notched 10 digs against Marshall and finished with 38 for the invite. Senior teammate Olivia Woodmansee had a team-high seven assists and racked up 41 assists in the invite. Junior teammate Riley Parker added 24 assists for the day.

With the 1-3 finish, New Glarus drops to 3-21 this season.

Deerfield swept the Glarner Knights 25-18, 25-18. Righter had a team-best six kills. Perkins and Boll each posted seven digs. Junior Julia Barnaby had three blocks.

The Knights defeated Sheboygan Christian 25-21, 25-12. Boll had a team-best six kills and junior Willow Lee added two blocks. In the final match, Sheboygan South topped New Glarus in three sets 25-27, 25-17, 15-9. Boll and Barnaby each had six kills to lead the Knights.
