Knights' 3-game winning streak snapped

MAZOMANIE - Wisconsin Heights guard Tyler Barman scored a game-high 26 points to lead the Vanguards to a 51-40 win over New Glarus Thursday.

New Glarus (7-10, 3-3 Capitol South) jumped out to a 24-18 lead at the half. Wisconsin Heights outscored the Vanguards 13-2 in the third quarter to take control of the game. The Vanguards outscored the Glarner Knights 33-16 in the second half.

New Glarus junior Gavin Binger scored a team-high 13 points and senior Colton Boley added seven points. The loss snapped the Knights' three-game winning streak.
